Money For Teens: Bake Sale

Money For Teen

Have a Bake Sale

This idea may seem childish, but it can make a lot of money, especially when applied to the correct demographic. I met a girl, 16, who raised $8,000 within a year, to pay for herself to go on a trip to Spain. She did so by selling baked goods to skiers at the bottom of the ski mountains in Vermont on the weekends. Basically wherever you can find a large group of people in the same place you can sell baked goods with a pretty high success rate. If you don’t have the time yourself, you may want to higher a baker or a friend to help out and split up the profits. I don’t know much about baking, but if you can spend a few days baking hundreds of goods, and freeze some, you should be able to make some good money.
